B-IT Foundation

B-IT activities are supported by the B-IT Foundation, a 56 million Euro endowment, complemented by additional federal project funds and matching funds from North Rhine-Westphalia. The mission of the B-IT Foundation is to foster innovation in the internationalization and acceleration of German IT education through the Bonn-Aachen International Center for Information Technology. The B-IT Foundation operates through a Council headed by the NRW Undersecretary of Science and Research, Staatssekretär Dr. Michael Stückradt. An international advisory board of top IT researchers and industry representatives from all over the world supports the strategic activities of B-IT.
