Research of the Life Science Informatics group focuses on several areas:

  • Development of novel algorithms for molecular similarity analysis and ligand-based virtual screening


  • Identification target-specific inhibitors through iterative virtual and biological screening



  • Computational methods for chemical genetics and genomics applications


  • Analysis of structure-function relationships of pharmaceutically relevant target proteins
